Food Vendor: Grateful Roots Food Truck
The Clydes are an Americana/Bluegrass and Honkytonk trio based out of Asheville, NC. Former members of the group Crying Wolf, Aubrey Cohen and Taylor Swan carried the torch forward, creating a twangin’ and old time country sound with their new guitarist, Justin Eisenman.
They have performed over 300 shows this past year alone, and continue to tour steadily. They recorded their first album in Nashville with Chris Henry of the Peter Rowan Band and will promote their album this Spring and Summer on a two month US and UK tour.
Collectively, they have played Festivals to include Maverick Folk Festival (UK), Aiken Bluegrass Festival, Merle Fest, Floyd Fest, Spring Fest, BanjoBQ and Roots on the River. They’ve collaborated with international players to include members of the Pokey Lafarge Band, Chris Henry, Former Hackensaw Boys member, Shawn Galbraith, James Brown’s guitarist, Keith Jenkins, Smith Curry (Dixie Chick’s pedal steel player), Delaney Davidson (NZ) and other top tier players who recognize their recent sprouting.
With their front-woman bass player, unique harmonies and impressive picking styles, The Clydes bring an unabashed energy and relatable emotion to the stage.
