81 Drifters, a vibrant string band from Asheville, NC, blending the sounds of Hot Club jazz, Western swing, traditional bluegrass, old-time, country folk, and ragtime. This rich fusion shapes our distinctive style, which we call “Americana swing grass.” Having played festivals and venues across North Carolina, we’re excited to announce the release of our self-titled EP in March 2025. We’re now booking performances for all of 2025 and look forward to sharing our music with new audiences!
