The Greenliners

The Greenliners are an Asheville-based progressive bluegrass ensemble featuring Richard Barrett (guitar & vocals), Jackson Dulaney (dobro), Christian Ferri (upright bass), Jay Franck (mandolin & vocals), and Ben Saylor (banjo & vocals); all veterans of the Western North Carolina acoustic music scene. The band has been performing regionally since 2014 and made their studio debut with the 2020 EP “Never Looking Back”.
The Greenliners also released two new studio tracks (“Wasted Time” and “Forget the Verse” in the summer of 2022. The singles were mixed and mastered at The Shop Studios in Candler, NC by legendary engineer Van Atkins. Each of the new tunes offers a unique glimpse into the respective songmanship of the band’s primary vocalists, Barrett and Franck, while showcasing the fluency of the group as an established instrumental collective.
